Creating the Life You Want with Dr. Kristen Race
November 12-16th, 2017
Las Catalinas, Guanacaste, Costa Rica
This Mindful Life retreat will guide you through an exploration of mindfulness practices, their impact on the brain, and an examination of their application to your everyday well-being.
Various tools, practices and teachings will help you align the life you are living with the life you want to live. As you gain a deeper understanding of how your mind works and your default mechanisms react, Dr. Race’s trainings will allow you to integrate mindfulness more profoundly not only as a daily practice, but as a new way of living.
“This retreat was one of the best things I have ever done! It was the perfect mix of interactions, activities, downtime and content. It was really, really well put together.” Debbie, Parent, Ohio.
“This retreat was great — it was exactly what I hoped for. The variety of people’s backgrounds was great, and this got me out of my comfort zone, which was exactly what I needed!” Robyn, school teacher.
This retreat experience supports all levels of mindfulness practice and you will leave with a plan for integrating a healthy mindfulness practice into your life, long after the retreat is over.

About the Location
Oceanside luxury accommodations in Las Catalinas, Costa Rica
Our group will stay in two beautiful homes or “casas” that are adjacent to each other in the small beach town of Las Catalinas located on the Pacific coast of northwestern Guanacaste. This spectacular setting on a tranquil bay is surrounded by a 1200-acre nature reserve. Las Catalinas is a self-contained community that was designed to be simple and elegant, integrated with nature, boasts hiking and mountain bike paths instead of roads and has a charming, old-world feel in a stunning and picturesque oceanfront location.
Both casas are minutes from the beach offering various bedding types, from shared twin bunk bed rooms to ultra-luxe Master King suites, each with a private bathroom. Single and double occupancy pricing is available. Breakfast and dinner will be provided for all days of the retreat.

I’m going to remember these conversations for the rest of my life ...
I’m walking away from the retreat feeling very grateful and open to be able to have more intention in my days. I learned here that if you can take care of yourself you can handle your stress better, and you’ll be much better off. You'll listen better, you’ll be kinder, you'll be more sympathetic. I think these tools have made me into a better person ... I’m going to remember these conversations for the rest of my life.
Please note, this is not a retreat just for Mindful Life Ambassadors. However, attending this retreat is a pre-requisite to becoming a Mindful Life Ambassador. For further information on the Mindful Life Ambassador program, please contact Kenny Reisman, email@example.com.
